Hygiene and Safety

Hygiene and safety is very important to us. All the water that we supply to customer facilities is potable, drinking water.

We would always warn customers against securing supplies of unsafe water for any purpose, as there is always the risk of ingestion or contamination by children or people who may believe that the water you are providing is drinking water.

Laboratory Testing

Our water supply and tankers are regularly tested and sampled by Wessex Water in their labs to check that there is no risk of contamination and danger to the public. So, you can be assured that the water you receive is of the highest quality.
Ensuring the hygiene of our water and equipment is not just of vital importance when we supply drinking water to festival campsites, local communities, etc. It is important when we supply any water that may come into contact with people whether deliberately (for example showering facilities, swimming pools) or accidentally (for example agricultural use or temporary structure ballast tanks).

Our Personnel and Suppliers

“National Water Hygiene” training is given to all our water tanker drivers via EUSR (the Energy and Utility Skills Register). You can check our drivers’ credentials via the EUSR website.
We use an external hygiene specialist company to clean the water tanks on the trucks every six weeks. This is called a CIP (Clean In Place). Our supply chain is very experienced in the dairy industry with regards the hygiene of liquid tankers.
All our water delivery and storage equipment are WRAS approved (through the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme). Therefore, is manufactured to a compliant and suitable standard for the delivery of safe drinking water.
